Travis Vineyard is a bear expert and the chairperson of the Assocation of Zoo and Aquarium's Bear Taxonomy Group, which supports bears around the world through ex situ and in situ activities, including management strategies, education, research, upholding welfare standards, conservation programs, and advocacy for bears. Travis was also the lead for construction of Susie's Bear Hollow regarding animal welfare, enrichment and animal keeper operations and safety.
