Pamela Rogers has over 30 years of executive experience in the field of risk management and insurance. Ms. Rogers has presented at numerous universities across the country and brings a unique perspective on the role of risk management in a corporate setting.

Organizations that want to implement an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program must choose whether to combine or separate the new ERM Program’s reporting structure from that of the existing Insurable Risk Management Program. ABOUT UA’S RISK MANAGEMENT AND INSURANCE PROGRAM

The risk management and insurance industry is thriving in so many ways, but it seeks new talent to continue to expand. Ohio’s insurance industry will require approximately 29,000 new workers to fill positions in the risk management and insurance industries between now and 2024.

To help meet this need, the College of Business Administration at The University of Akron launched its new Risk Management and Insurance program in the Fall 2017 semester. The Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) program provides the opportunity for students to earn a major, minor, or certificate at the undergraduate level and an MBA in RMI at the graduate level. These opportunities will allow students to engage in a highly rewarding career.
